Review on Topwit Electric Hot Pot: 5L Adjustable Power Control, Nonstick Frying Pan, Multifunction Skillet with Tempered Glass Lid - Perfect for Shabu Shabu, Noodles, and Sautéing by Michael Langelius

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works great except for a crooked skillet

This is my second purchase of an electric skillet and the main reason I chose it was that it comes with a power cord! The first one I bought (a different brand) had the sensor's power cord attached and it wouldn't stay on. I love everything about my Topwit electric skillet, love the handle on the lid that converts into a stand, love that the power cord is attached, love the non-stick coating, love how big and deep the skillet is, a Downside and I hope it was just my frying pan and just a defect but my frying pan came out of the box creased in the middle so all the liquid drained to the outside edges including the scrambled eggs so it's really annoying that I have this Frying took pan so bad I live in an RV but I'll have to trade it in and hope the next one has a flat pan bottom. I also love this electric skillet! ****EXCHANGE UPDATE*** I was hoping that exchanging my Topwit for the exact same product would give me a pan that wasn't warped or bent in the middle. Also, to my disappointment, the replacement skillet was bent in the middle! I'm keeping my 4 star rating because after trying other brands this Topwit is still far superior to the shortcomings of all other brands! I just have to move the scrambled eggs back and forth while stirring while cooking. If you're making large dishes that require more than an inch deep in the pan, the curved center really isn't a problem.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
