It removes stains but the shape doesn't allow me to rub at some angles to remove most stains. Overall, this is the best I've used when trying to remove them. I never thought pumice would be a good idea for a toilet but I get horrible hard water stains within 2 days of cleaning my toilet - the crazy blue drips seem to pollute them even worse! I went for 5 days and came home to the toilets that belonged to the Ghostbusters movie so I will be buying more! I immediately broke one of these and used the other for 2 toilets which weren't even that bad so they run out pretty quickly. I would have preferred them to be softer and not scrape my toilet into rubble, so that's a compromise. I wish they were a bit longer/bigger and preferred an asymmetric end so different areas of the toilet could be cleaned more easily, but I haven't found a better alternative so can't complain too much!
