Used on the plane, worked well

I rode my bike and started looking for panniers. Hard cases are too expensive. It was a very affordable bag. I contacted my bike mechanic and he had an extra bike box. We took out the wheels and pedals and attached the box to the bag. Then I did my best. The bike arrived safe and sound, the handlebars were slightly bent but easily repaired. When I came back I put my bike back in the bag and it fit perfectly. There are two ways to make this bike better: wheels and a longer shoulder strap. I will tell you that the shoulder strap is useless, you can't carry the bag properly with this shoulder strap. Adding wheels solves the problem. I think that would make this bag the best ever. In terms of durability, I've seen a few torn and frayed sections. So I guess it may take maybe 3 more round trips and that's it. But it worked! I also pack my shoes, bike pump and other small items in the bag. You did well. I traveled via Jetblue (bad bike policy, don't travel! paid $135) and Delta (great bike policy! paid $30!). My bag weighed 48 pounds. UPDATE 01/18/2021: This is the third time I've used this bag. The weight of my bag was 51 pounds. This bag held my bike, water bottles, shoes, multi tools, etc. So it was pretty heavy. It was an easy ride because I left my bike in Puerto Rico to stay there forever. The airline (Delta) forgot to put my bag on the plane. So I received it the next day. It looked good. The bag has signs of wear, but that was to be expected. I removed the box I took with me on my first trip and put the bag in my suitcase. The bag itself weighs about 6 pounds. I think this bag will last me a few more trips.
