Easy to assemble by one person, extra hammer or whatever is required as without it it's difficult to assemble shelves for those without upper body strength - it takes a couple of hours alone because The parts are bulky. The plastic parts don't attach well to the metal bars and I honestly don't know if it's possible to fully assemble the shelves onto the plastic rings like the instructions say. Looks clean, comes with a few freebies like hooks and plastic covers in case something would fall through the metal wiring. He's a little shaky even when he's wearing clothes, but he can easily carry a bunch of folded clothes. I would recommend some kind of seismic protection. However, I have about 1 1/2 feet of wasted space at the top because the box only had 6 shelves and I store clothes which means there aren't enough sections without things piling up too high. I'm looking for more shelves that go with it.
