Used on a plasma TV that is almost 20 years old and has no HDMI input. A little surprised actually that it works great with the FireTV Stick it's connected to. Have tried other adapters and always had problems with picture or sound distortions or frequent loss of sync and complete dropouts. One thing you may need to do is manually adjust the size and position of the picture, either on the device sending the signal or on the TV showing it, or possibly both, which in high- end video devices was actually pretty common. but almost unknown in the PnP world, so you should make sure your devices have manual settings, not just the automatic ones we find today. In my case I had to adjust the image size in the FireTV settings and the screen position on the TV.
