Review on Highly Protective Power Strip: P8U2 Surge Protector with USB Charging Ports, 2630 Joules, Flat Plug, 8 Outlets by Fred Griffin

Super solution - exactly what I need

This overvoltage protection has almost everything I need. I argued between this model P8U2 or PH8U2. I love the simplicity, size and shape of the PH8U2. Their characteristics are very similar, as is their price. However, I found the P8U2 to be a little better. Benefits - Thick, strong, swiveling cable - Great placement flexibility - Angled flat-ended plug - Two USB ports - Retractable covers for unused outlets. Keep dust and children's fingers away. High ledge/protrusion around power button to prevent accidental presses. The power button does not light up, which would attract some children's attention. Joule, I don't need that many joules at the moment. Good for my future adjustable slatted frame. My bed is more like a couch against the wall. My new mattress was so high that I couldn't turn on the lamp. I either have to pull out the mattress and create a gap between the bed and the wall to plug in the lamp or just buy this spade plug surge protector to solve the problem. I obviously chose the latter. The surge protector is under my bed and I can use a lamp, charge my phone and there are no gaps between the mattress and the wall! I posted some pictures. One measures a flat fork, just in case anyone is wondering how thick it is.

Pros
  • Overvoltage protection 2630J nominal power
Cons
  • Without automatic
