I blame myself for paying too much for an overpriced StarTech hard drive docking station in my initial search for a reliable brand, but StarTech is responsible to send me a product that wasn't even fully assembled. As you can see from the photo, this product left the StarTech factory unported. Emails to StarTech Customer Support have made it clear that this is not uncommon. I suspect that many of the one star reviews on this product are from customers who have unknowingly received docking stations that were also not fully assembled. This was my first purchase of a StarTech product and will certainly be my last.
