I bought this cable after researching the differences between RG6 and RG59 coax cables. I had trouble getting some HD channels onto my cable box, they were pixelated. In the attic was a 50 foot piece of RG59 from the splitter to the jack in the living room. Once I replaced that section, my channels were free. It must be ensured that the short piece of cable from the socket to the cable socket is also marked with RG6. The difference between 6 and 59 can be seen in the diameter of the cable, as well as the cross-section of the "stinger" wire, both are significantly larger. This is a high quality cable and you can tell by looking at it.
