If you are looking for a disposable product at a price you can throw away after a short use then I would recommend it at the $8 price I paid then this is perfect for the job. I recommend using a rubber grommet or thick rubber washer at the base as the threads don't lock well. I suggested that a small amount of weak blue threadlock could also be used to achieve a similar effect. i found this Very poor quality of materials and workmanship but it should be cheap. So set low expectations. I would never recommend it for long-term use like more than a few days. Metal parts rust after a short exposure. I can only imagine how brittle plastic becomes after prolonged exposure to the sun and low temperatures.
