I bought 2 of these and one worked and the other didn't, the second turned on and connected but no sound at all. I use a machine that makes fence rolls at work and I've been using my ear to listen to audio books for years. I couldn't understand the books with them at all because the audio is weak. I'm sure they'd be fine in a library or somewhere with no background noise, but not at all suited to my needs. I have a few different ones that I use but the batteries will not hold a charge after 2 or 3 years. I was disappointed with this model but it will suit most people. I believe the charging port is responsible for the background noise drowning out the audio because I can hold my finger over the charging port and almost hear it. I wear earplugs in one ear and earplugs in the other.
