I needed a cup holder for my old minivan that was better than the factory one. It costs $9, it has two adjustable cup holders that actually stay set, and there's a bit of extra storage at the top. Yes, it fits the bill for a $9 piece of plastic. I took 2 short metal screws and fastened them just into the van's carpeting through the screw holes provided and this is more than enough to secure them for the finishing work required to get the minivan to where the minivan needs to go. I have to reiterate that the cup holders stay where you want them set. This is perhaps the main problem people like me are looking for in such remedies. The adjustment is of course only in the stationary state with two hands. But I believe it was the engineering that was required to make the setting feature so functional. 5 stars Ron Swanson
