When I was in the same room as my Ender 3 Pro while printing, I realized how loud the fans are. When my wife asked me to close the door, she told me that I had to do something about it. I read good reviews about these fans and they were very cheap so I bought a set - two regular fans and two blowers. Since I only needed one for the hotend and parts, I used the second fan for the motherboard. These fans are much quieter than standard fans but still produce a high-pitched hum that is noticeable but not as loud as the noise levels of standard units. They're direct replacements, but as other reviewers have pointed out, the wires aren't as long as the stock cables. I simply cut the wires from the stock fans and use a butt joint to connect the new fans to the stock wires. Unfortunately, I've found that the PSU's fan is actually pretty loud too, so that would be next on the list of things to update.
