Does it work? Yes a pair. It's not very consistent and not that easy to use. Using stone is easier and gives better results. Do yourself a favor, ignore the reviews and get a generic whetstone (the one with 2 stones + leather + ceramic) or something more expensive that actually works like a Sharp Maker, Apex, kme or even Lansky.
