I got these gloves because of their Bought traction potential. Use a rake, shovel, long-handled garage floor mops, etc. These gloves work as promised - excellent palm and finger grip. The "touchscreen" capability could do with some work. Even after making sure your fingers are tense, it can be (pun intended) "touch and go." Longevity wasn't an issue, but the jury's still out. The thickness (I read it's for cushioning) could be a little better on the heel of the palm, thumb "saddle" and knuckles. If "thickness" actually refers to the overall thickness of the gloves' material, then I have to give it approximately (4 stars). the addictive power they offer. They are NOT designed for wet environments (wet garden, rain, picking wet piles of leaves). They get soaked - they dry normally, they just aren't as moisture resistant as palm+guard+cuff&qid=1609412140&sr=8-7>. Which as leather needs a little treatment to give the leather a pleasant patina shine that also acts as a barrier against water. Leather can also be treated with shoe lubricant - but unfortunately it doesn't hold so firmly in the palm of your hand _ so-so.
