After a recent replacement, my new dentist offered me floss as I am historically incompatible with flossing. It's a revelation and I wish my old dentist had told me about this type of floss years ago. Aesthetically it has a fairly small footprint, taller than wide, which is nice because I have very little counter space in my bathroom and all the accessories are stored in the lid, which is very convenient and space-saving. The engine is loud I guess, but it's an engine, so. I only use it 2-3 minutes a day so to be honest I don't see it as a problem or anything to worry about. Functionally, it has an adjustable speed control so you can easily adjust the speed of the water jet to suit your comfort level - I started on the lowest setting and worked my way up to medium speed - and 20 oz. storage tank. I fill it up completely and use the entire tank in one sitting, which takes about 2 minutes. I actually feel like it cleans between my teeth a lot better than flossing, it's really helped me get started on good solid dental care and I can see a noticeable difference in my gums which look a lot healthier than before. You can buy a more expensive model or brand, but why? This dental floss from Turewell is excellent value for money and I am very happy with it.
