Review on 📡 KING OA8501 HDTV Directional Over-the-Air Antenna with Mount, Signal Finder - Black (Improved SEO) by Brian Rivenbark

Since my previous RV antenna blew off the top of my RV I did some research and bought a King antenna. I recorded several installation videos on YouTube, read the installation instructions, and spent at least 5 hours carefully connecting each wire and coax connection from the King power input to the King SureLock signal meter to the antenna itself, mounted (with optional King bracket) antenna. They applied a special $40 self-leveling sealant to the antenna and base. I pressed the power button on the King Power Inserter and noticed that the lights on the Power Inserter came on but the King SureLock signal indicator did not light up at all. I found absolutely no reception after scanning the TV at least 3 times. Absolutely no acceptance. I checked what connection I could make with a high beam flashlight and everything looked safe. The antenna is covered by a limited warranty stating: ANY WARRANTY SERVICES RELATING TO FACTORY PRODUCTION ARE NOT COVERED UNLESS THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN INSTALLED BY AN AUTHORIZED DEALER/INSTALLER OR OEM, meaning that this antenna should never be used as an end in itself was intended. installed if you ever intend to use the limited warranty in the future. I spent over $190 on this King Jack antenna as there is no guarantee if I installed it myself and I have no choice but to leave it installed on the roof of my RV as I know that I have no TV reception from King antennas. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY THIS ANTENNA because if there was a manufacturing defect and you fitted it you would not have any objection either, except knowing, like me, that I will not have TV reception in the future. ATTENTION: NO MENTION OF WARRANTY REGARDING ANYTHING IF THE CUSTOMER INSTALLS THIS ANTENNA THEMSELVES! While this omission may not be the legal definition of misleading advertising, it certainly isn't reassuring to know that others could make the same mistake I made purchasing this antenna.
