I installed a 70 inch TV so I have to admit the difficulty level was above average. However, the directions were entirely visual - there was no support for particularly difficult spots. The tools provided were superfluous (they offered methods for two different types of installation in one bag that took a while to solve) and some were just junk - the screws came off too easily and one of the keys didn't fit in the right one. The presence of a bracket also means the TV doesn't "wobble" entirely without L/R tilt, even when securely mounted. In short, it might be worth paying for a professional installation if you're not ready for the grueling, hour-long process to get it right. Still, I love my ceiling mount. It's made my house about 12% cooler, and that's well one of my favorite purchases this year. I'm still a little nervous about him collapsing so I'll keep an eye on how safe he is and how I'm doing. This TV but I feel very good and I recommend it to anyone who wants to add an extra chic layer to their home or business.
