Review on πŸ”’ Screamer Disc Alarm Lock: High-Quality Disc Alarm by Oxford Products Limited (OF229) by Greg Bellman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best horn for my bike!

I recently had a 14 year old bike stolen. This misfortune even prompted me to buy a much more expensive bike than I had. To protect my new investment, I was looking for more than an automatic lock or a cut-resistant cable lock. I stumbled across this when a random search turned up a motorcycle alarm. I haven't seen this style of lock on bikes in my area and I'm sure a lot of people don't think of traditional cable or U-locks first. In addition to this level of security, I also bought a frame mounted AXA Defender bike lock. This product arrived today and I can't contain my excitement at how well it works! The Oxford Screamer Disc Lock will definitely deter thieves watching my bike. Its sensitivity is perfect and not fussy at all. It goes through the brake disc with a beep, then press a button to activate or "arm" it. I tested this by briefly moving the bike for a second and it gave "four warning" beeps. I kept moving the bike and let a relentless "very loud" alarm sound. I am very happy that it does exactly what it promises! You will not be disappointed and have confidence in the safety of your bike.
