Review on Oreck ProShield Plus Air Purifier: Superior Indoor Air Quality Solution by Khaled Ribeiro

My first filter made sparks/crackles. Usually only occurs when larger particles enter the filter. It was difficult to clean even with the expensive Oreck cleaner. My mom smokes indoors and I wanted something strong to purify the air. I have an older Oreck (6 years old or so) that still works and does a good job. However, this new version, even though I received a replacement for this order…. It died and does not turn on after 8 months. Can't tell if I bought an insurance/protection plan so now I'm stuck with an expensive dust bag. Very disappointed. I'm not sure if it was smoking in the house that killed him. but on the other hand I have an old version that still works. I'm sure the official Oreck cleaning spray works better with filters that are not used in a non-smoking home.
