I chose these underwear for runs in the very cold morning hours. Yesterday was one of them and they showed up perfectly. They fit snug (I wear 32" pants and ordered medium) but not too tight, almost like compression shorts. Even after several washes, they are comfortable and soft. I haven't noticed any odor on mine, but I always wash my clothes before I put them on. In terms of warmth, they did their job, especially in 30-degree weather and cardio. I was sweating quite a bit and they really felt like they "wicked away" the sweat. The only downside for me was the lack of a pocket for my phone, but considering it's actually long underwear and not compression shorts, that's to be expected.
