Works decently, don't know why so many people are having trouble setting it up. You actually have to set how many times the drum spins at each set time. If you don't, it's assumed you want it to rotate around zero (i.e. not feed the fish). Worked well for my goldfish when I was out of town, although it sloshed a bit on the top of the lid. No big deal, just needs a bit of tweaking to get it right. There is a curious blemish on the front panel - during the production process, a piece of grass or straw got stuck between the front panel with buttons and the plastic cover. Too much hassle to fix, no need to return or exchange. I like that it runs on regular batteries and not the mains.
