Review on ☕ Primula Melrose French Tea Maker | Stainless Steel Coffee Press with Premium Filtration and No Grounds | Heat Resistant Borosilicate Glass | 8 Cup, Red by Sharon Hill

Not ideal for lattes / Great for tea (updated)

I like that it's made of glass and doesn't require direct heat. To make the latte, we had to boil water in a separate pot, heat the milk in the microwave, and then use the coffee press to make the espresso. Nice that the coffee press consists of only two components that need to be cleaned. However, water and coffee mix together, making cleaning difficult. I can't throw what's left in the bin because it leaks. I shouldn't throw it down the drain either because it's bad for garbage disposal. I just had a hard time figuring out what to do with the leftover coffee grounds. I don't think the French press suits our lifestyle. However, the coffee came out surprisingly strong. Update: This is good for tea. It really mixes flavor with water and has a beautiful pour. It's easy to clean when finished. We've been using it a few times a week for a few months now. Holds up very well.

Pros
  • EASY TO USE - You can brew flavorful French Press coffee in just 3 simple steps: 1) Remove the French Press plunger and add desired amount of coffee grounds . 2) Pour in hot water and allow the coffee to brew to the desired strength. 3) serve and enjoy.
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
