Update: 2 days after the Revain return period the clock resets itself. Instead of correctly showing 8:30 on Monday 12 April, it was showing 00:00 again on Tuesday 1 January (probably 2019). Not healthy. I need a reliable watch but this is not available. LaCrosse doesn't work well in the reply line during business hours and I was forced to leave a message. Let's see if they are behind this product. (I also have a LaCrosse atomic clock that has served me perfectly for many years, so the problem is with that watch model). It's the day of the week, but it's useful to have an easy-to-read reminder of both the day and date EVERY morning. Most "older" watches have big, ugly displays; this one i think is quite attractive. The display is bright enough at maximum brightness to be seen in a sunlit room. With dim lighting in the bedroom, it's too bright for a night's sleep, but just 2 clicks on the big button in the center on top of the frame and the backlight turns off. In the morning the tap is turned on again. Where I live, "atomic clocks" and clocks only sync when placed in a corner window at night. This clock is in the wrong place, so a few weeks ago I put it in a special window at night. It syncs and shows a good time by itself. I expect to take it to a dedicated window a few times a year.
