Started painting again, first with student paints. They were no match for the paint I used years ago, mostly Grumbacher Finest Artist Grade watercolors, the student paint seemed too opaque and didn't stick well to the paper. Purchasing this DS set allows me to see multiple colors. and it was necessary to fill the empty palette. More expensive, yes. But I am very happy with the color, transparency and manageability.
