75 ohm RG-6 center conductor which is critical for a reliable connection. I used it to extend a Swann digital security camera to about 120 feet using Tri-Shield RG-6 coaxial cable. The system came with only 60 feet of cable. Worked great. Just note that the connection, particularly on the BNC side, is not weatherproof. If this is done outside the chamber it should be in some sort of splice box or sealed with heat shrink tubing or wrapped with mastic or rubber sealing tape. Electrical tape does nothing but hold in the moisture that seeps through it. I was there. I've worked in CATV outside the factory and in headend network cabling for 40 years so I've seen a lot of crappy hookups. I would have no problem using her in this job.
