Review on Nilight Adapter Dogbone Electrical Warranty by Joe Taniguchi

Good product but be careful

This adapter looks good quality and reliable. However, regardless of appearance, I always take the following precautions when connecting: Use a network analyzer to check the circuit of the campsite socket to see if there is a fault in the campsite power line. This is your first line of defense against damage to your new adapter and, more importantly, your RV's electronics and equipment. Turn off the socket (turn off the power by pressing the power button or the power button if the socket has one). Disconnect the socket. Apartment side (turn off the main switch) before making the connections on the pole. You don't want arcing to occur when making connections. Always insert (or pull) connectors straight in (or out) without twisting. The adapter electrodes are the physical weak point. After the connections are made, wrap any open connections (e.g. the gap between the adapter (50A female) and the RV (50A male power cord)) with electrical tape. to keep elements out of the connection. Enjoy a microwave or air conditioner powered by the campsite with the new electrical adapter.
