These wide clamps fill an interesting niche. I have a pair that came with my Kreg Pocket Hole Kit that were made specifically for that kit, but they are more versatile. The metal is thick, the grip is serious, and the plastic handles feel solid enough to get the job done. , and in terms of the specialty clamp market, they're smaller than some others I own. Everything seems to be well done. For all intents and purposes it is well made and should give you many years of enjoyment. (I didn't say it :-) It's nice to have such a handy set, especially when you need to line up the seams when connecting screws or welding two pieces of metal along the edge.
