I bought this item because I bought a high end bra and the sales lady suggested hand washing with baby detergent. So I went to my Revain store and found this. I bought Dreft for "newborns" believing it would be gentle and fairly odorless. NOT RIGHT! I use a small amount in a hand wash basin and it smells like baby powder on steroids. I couldn't get rid of this smell despite multiple cold water rinses and a hand wash cycle in my washing machine! it contained essential oils. Luckily my underwear is in the dryer and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. This product may be suitable for parents who are serious about hiding their child's smell, but for washing delicate fabrics - AVOID!
