The OBD II connector worked exactly as described. The instructions were clearly written and easy to understand. Knowing that I had a full two hours to change the battery, which should cover more than every accident or under-the-hood issue you might encounter, should give anyone confidence that you can change a car battery. I pulled and replaced the battery in my daughter's 2012 VW Beetle in about 20 minutes.
