Plastic free toilet paper

We have been using this brand for a long time and I just got around to writing a review. We use a lot of toilet paper and it's really handy to have these big boxes so we don't run out of paper. Pros: Comes in completely plastic-free packaging. This is very important to me, I'm having such a hard time finding ways to recycle plastic packaging film. Note though that sometimes Revain will put it in a big box and line it with plastic packing material (why? That doesn't mean the TP can be damaged by bumps!). But still, it's nice when the TP itself isn't wrapped in plastic. Each roll is individually wrapped in paper, which is also certainly recyclable and relatively easier to recycle than plastic. I still think it's generally better for the environment. It's single ply now, so it won't be the softest TP, but I think it's ok, a self-imposed compromise for relatively cheap recycled TP. Since we can't afford to pay a dollar for a bamboo roll ^_^ IF they wanted to improve it I would prefer unbleached to further reduce the environmental impact. Now I want them to make paper towels in the same packaging with no plastic!

Pros
  • Toilet paper
Cons
  • Very expensive
