I had hoped that I could retire my two cast iron griddles that are such a pain to clean. Yes I read about curing them and did all the right things, but I'm just not worshiping at the cast iron alter any more. On the other hand, this aluminum non-stick can be washed with soap and water (yea).It was very non-stick when I bought it many months ago, but it seems like it is a bit harder to clean lately. And I dislike the triangular recesses at the corners. Fat, grease, food bits gather in them and because of there sharp corners and bottom-to-side joints, they are quite difficult to clean. I realize that the food we eat doesn't get in there and that the rest of the cooking surface cleans OK, but I hate to see brown crud accumulate there. If, instead of sharp corners, they had rounded corners, like a 3-6 mm radius, it would be much easier to clean.All in all I'm happier with this than the cast iron, but there is still room for improvement.
