I am really impressed with this halo extension. My first impression of the hair was that it was good quality and felt really nice. I ordered the 20 inch 100g halo in the color "darkest brown fading to medium brown with blonde”. I was nervous about this color recommendation because my base is not dark brown, but rather technically a dark blonde/light brown but it blends seamlessly color wise. This halo is much thinner than the more expensive options, but I never liked the heavier halos comfort levels. The band would dig into my scalp while this halo I can hardly feel. My natural hair is chest length while the halo is about to my belly button. These extensions do not blend for me when all my hair is down. I do not have fine, nor thick hair. However, I either have to wear this in a braid or half up/ half down. I also cut out the clips as I found the extension to be very hard to maneuver into place without catching on my natural hair and ripping it. It feels very secure without them. I had the most trouble with the wire. I must have a smaller head because I had to put the wire on the notch closest to the center and this made the band portion of the halo that goes up near your ears bow out and show through my hair. It’s very hard to explain unless you see it yourself, but it was not working. All the clear bands you get as back up are the same length so that did not help me. I was about to order my own fishing line and redo it when I figured out that you could adjust the wire with some pliers and un-crimp the plastic bead very gently and shorten the clear elastic strap it comes with. It was tedious work, but possible. I included pictures of the halo worn naturally which did not work for my hair and then in a braid and half up/ half down. I could probably get it cut with layers to help blend, but I am happy with the half up style.
