I used the Norelco Maverick for over 20 years until it finally gave up so I looked forward to another 20 years with this item. When it arrived the battery was dead. The battery died so the first thing I did was charge it fully and it worked as expected the first time. The second time, even though it indicated it was charged, it went out with no light while I was trimming my beard. I connected it to the charger for five minutes and the charge was enough to finish the job. I plugged it back in overnight and the next morning it was just as flat as the day it arrived with the added bonus of being warm. What a disappointment.
