Malfunction. in my opinion
I have another monitor, exactly the same model. When I got the new one and switched it on it was much darker than the other one and very bad colors too. It also has a shimmering effect. In the attached picture, on the left is my old monitor, which is showing exactly white, and next to it is the new one. Which displays white as yellow. Basically I wasted $400 and can't even get it back.

- Screen Tearing: This occurs when the monitor's refresh rate is too slow, causing the image to appear choppy or distorted.
