Good thing there's a reason to write a positive review these days. as many products disappoint in terms of quality and added value. This screen was extremely easy to set up, taking only 5 minutes. A Thunderbolt 3 USB-C to USB-C cable is included and I can connect my computer right away and free my desk from the computer charging cable. Nice. I have been using this monitor for many months, working from home on different platforms. Works great out of the box for Windows and Linux. The text is a bit small, but very clear at 100%. I prefer to work at 125% to protect my eyes a bit. Text appears 100% small on a Mac. Mac does not scale like Windows and Linux. Great monitor for the money. 1440p isn't dead. If you absolutely DON'T NEED 4K (probably don't!) this monitor will be sharp and color accurate as you'd expect from Dell. If you hook it up to a new Mac M1 (like I did with the Mac Mini) you might have a bit of a headache getting it to output RGB over HDMI instead of YPbPr at first, but there are a few tricks that You can find by googling. repair something. Was looking for a new Ultravision to match my old U2415 (which is being discontinued) for a 2 screen extended desktop. The 2415 is taller than it is long, so the body looks more like a 25" monitor... Solution? Take this 25" Ultravision and its body looks more like the old one. This new one has a higher resolution, that's the only difference, but I can live with that.

I have another monitor, exactly the same model. When I got the new one and switched it on it was much darker than the other one and very bad colors too. It also has a shimmering effect. In the attached picture, on the left is my old monitor, which is showing exactly white, and next to it is the new one. Which displays white as yellow. Basically I wasted $400 and can't even get it back.

Great monitor and I was able to get rid of the charger and a few adapters from my 2016 15" Mac Pro. Power and peripherals work great.

Works great with the 2019 16" MacBook Pro - one cable for power and display connection really reduces desk clutter. The monitor's additional USB ports are also good for charging devices/connecting devices to a laptop. This is a great upgrade over my old U2518D. .

This is by far the best Dell display I've ever had! There's no IPS glow and backlight, and the picture quality just pops out of the screen. Amazing and I highly recommend it!

Bought two of these. The monitor works great, looks great, but showing off features like MST/Daisy chaining and then not including a display port cable is a quiet hit for them. For the price, Dell, you should do better. Now you have to buy separately. Don't brag about features without including the necessary hardware.

Bought two of these for a MacBook Pro. Both examples had the same issue, they worked as expected for a few weeks and then stopped recognizing the USB-C input for video (although the power passthrough still worked), that's the whole point of this display. Tried multiple computers, same problem. Otherwise it was a very good display when it worked.

This is my second Dell Ultrashar0p monitor. My first got dusty after years of service and fell off my desk. So I got another one and it works great for this old man. I'm not a gamer, so I can't tell you how great it is for gaming, but I can tell you that it's sharp, bright, with vibrant colors, and works for all my purposes.

I really like the design and performance of the monitor. The instructions included and available online are too cryptic for me - no words to explain the icons, many different connections on the monitor and little help.
