I bought a size 27.5 (large) even though it's a size 27 because most of the comments said the skirt runs small. However after I bought it I tried it on and it hung on the hips and didn't pinch the waist like I had imagined. I went back and then bought a size 26 but it was still large. Although it doesn't suit me the way I want, I've decided to keep 26 and just get by. Overall the quality was really great and the length is perfect. When buying, keep in mind that if you want it to stay tight around your waist, you need to go smaller (at least). The picture also perfectly matches what you will receive in real life. . Also, the petticoat shorts in my two different orders were not the same, one was all thick fabric and the other thin plastic? Although I didn't mind it, it fit me comfortably. I'm 5'4" and about 120 pounds so I'm not super skinny or anything - this skirt is just too big. Hope that helps!
