I was shown this item when I first started knitting. The landlady explained to me that she never dry cleaned her knitwear made of wool, cashmere etc. I always dry cleaned my sweaters. Dry cleaning uses harsh chemicals and with Eucalan this is not necessary. It's made for wool and unlike Woollite, it's not as bubbly. A full flush is not necessary. Soak and rinse. Squeeze out the water. Then place on a towel, roll up and press firmly to remove as much moisture as possible. Then I reshape the sweater and lay it out to dry. Smells clean, feels good. No nasty chemicals and no dry cleaning bills
