These bars are very pretty, but the screws are very short (only 1 inch long) and I couldn't get more than a thread or two in the holes. I've tried a few pulls and none of them took more than a screw turn or two, which is clearly not enough to hold the pulls in place or pull. I tried the screws that came out of my old knobs and even they wouldn't tighten. Many drawer front panels are over 1/2 inch thick, so you will likely need to purchase longer screws. Drawer front panels require 1 3/4" screws, even if you could screw in the tie rods I would have to spend more money to buy the screws. I will be returning them. Supplement: Thread 8-32. Since I had friends in low places, I was able to borrow a faucet and clean the threads. Considering the amount of metal that was cut through the tap, the quality control of this piece was very poor. But he got it to work. Just know! I had to buy some longer screws to fit under the boxes.
