Wrong product description!

This seller is lying. The item description specifically states that this will work on a 2012 Ford F250. it is not. After spending the better part of a day routing all the wiring for my new head unit, bluetooth mic, rear camera, and subwoofer, I finally made the final move. So far everything has been going great. I pulled the installation kit from my bag and was immediately unimpressed by the lack of parts (no screws). I was going to install it and part of the radio frame broke. I started looking at it and it just didn't seem like it would fit right. close but not quite right. I went and looked at the piece of paper that was in the box and the F250 wasn't on the list of suitable cars. F150 is but not F250. I couldn't be more angry right now if I tried. Now I don't have a radio in my truck and I have to drive like someone broke into my car because these people lied when they installed this product. I can't even send it back because it's torn. I bought a Metra installation kit for my son's car and will buy another Metra for my truck. This ASC sucks, the quality is way worse than the Metra and it was a very uncomfortable experience. Don't believe what the information says. The ONLY thing worth cursing for is the antenna adapter. Wire plugs will do, but if you want to keep all the factory features you'll need to buy the matching wire harness, which comes with the tiny computer box that connects to the ECU. These belts cost around $125. This is the right way to do it. This kit just sucks.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Exorbitant piggy bank
