Update: Top notch customer service. They responded very quickly and solved all my problems and gave me the option to get my money back or send a new device at no extra cost. I chose the latter and two days later received my new device with no defects and in perfect condition. I have an extra filter from a broken block in case I need a replacement. As most cooker hoods are made out of wood or other materials they are usually more expensive and this one is aluminum but decently built. When you get this you will have to open it by removing the filter as it has more foam and cables and be careful as there are sharp edges. Once installed, it works great and I'm satisfied with the service and quick turnaround provided. Old Review: When I received my Flow Hood I noticed a large dent in the frame where the weathering foam seals the filter. This creates a huge leak in the device and hardly any air comes out of the filter. Also, the fan seems to be rubbing against something, making it very noisy and not spinning freely. The packaging was great but I am disappointed that the product was still damaged, possibly packaged that way. I have contacted customer service and am awaiting a response to get a replacement or refund my money and will keep this as a 1 star rating until the issue is resolved. Before purchasing I read the reviews on here and saw that several people had this issue and basically took a chance with this device and it didn't seem to pay off.
