Be careful when using it for the first time

I opened the box that the product came in and within seconds I had 3 cuts on 2 different ones fingers and my palm from the razor sharp edges on one side where it snaps to reinforce the step. On the other hand, it's not sharp. Probably just a manufacturer error. There are several spots on this product that I need to sand down to ensure safety for myself or others using this step. Especially since it looks pretty decent for the price.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

Should be easier to unfold/fold

I was drawn to this one, it's made in the USA but I'm used to other step stools that only have a handle that you can grab to unfold the back easily be destroyed. It takes a while to unfold and set up all the small parts and even more time to roll it up. I also got some cramps when I collapsed. Unfortunately I can't recommend it at the moment, which is a shame as it's one of the few from the US I can find on Revain. I give 3 stars for having it installed, at least it's really tall and durable.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Great price

Very durable, much better than the cheap ones. Its worth it!

This is my third folding stool. I bought my first a few years ago. It was durable and lasted until I sold it with my van. Then I bought a replacement Revain (Acko) about a month ago that looked pretty much the same. It only lasted a week on the van ride before it crumbled into a pile of plastic pieces. The latter is much more similar to my original: very durable, easy to set up and made in the USA! I actually bounced it up and down gently so that if it were to break it would do so immediately…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Volume

I love this stool! It's perfect for getting bigger.

I lost my large black folding stool and I'm out of money. It was so helpful! I've been looking for an exact replacement and finally found it in the wide range here at Revain. It is higher, wider and lower than most stools. I use it to mount kayaks on the roof of my van like a mounting block and I don't fall off painting the ceiling. I never thought I could hang on a folding stool like that. After buying this one, I found my old one in my friend's trailer. Now I have one in the house and one in…

  • One year trial

Hard wearing on lab seats

At 240 pounds and 6ft 2in tall I needed a 12 inch step chair that I could stand and sit wide in, plus had to be folded. This fits the bill. I think I'd be tall enough to fly high, WRONG! I usually miss by a few inches, even on tiptoe. :) Pull it out, open it and get it. Much better than grabbing a chair or ladder from the garage. I hate to admit that I'm old, I'm old :) but also use it as a stool or knee when you're working with things on or near the ground. It's much easier to get up from than

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other alternatives

Started with a few smaller stools and all had problems, all sent back! Then I decided to pay a little more ($21) and my goodness what a difference in a few dollars! It folds up very easily and hides behind the dog food container when we don't need it. Has a bit more height for short people like me :) but not too high so you don't feel like you're tipping over. Well made and the pieces work smoothly - no pulling, clicking or hurting your fingers (just be careful not to hold it between the ends…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black
