Very Versatile - my new review

I like that it is a durable easy to clean plastic and that it fits vials of all different sizes all in one tray That's my feedback.

Pros
  • Multi sized holes for multi sized tubes, my 5ml tubes fall right through unfortunately.
Cons
  • Very small and unstable

Simple little rack, very versatile.

For more than just test tubes. Just what I needed to hold some small items vertically and keep them handy for use. I like that I could flip it over for smaller items. It works well for my needs.

Pros

  • Fragility: Made from plastic, these test tube racks are more susceptible to breaking and cracking, which could potentially damage the samples being held within them

STANDARD API TEST TUBES FOR AQUARIUM USE DO NOT FIT

IT'S GOOD TO HAVE A TEST TUBE RACK BUT I WOULD RECOMMEND FINDING ONE THAT THE STANDARD TEST TUBES USED IN THE AQUARIUM WORLD (5ML) FIT. I USED A DRILL TO ENLARGE THE HOLES. THAT BEING SAID, IT IS WELL BUILT, HEAVY DUTY PLASTIC.

Poorly manufactured

The racks do not lock together well. I bought two and one cracked during my attempt to link them together. The racks don't sit flat on the bench either, so a deformity missed during manufacture probably explains these issues. I have a few racks of this style and this is my first experience with these problems.If you don't plan on linking the racks and care that the racks rock on the bench a bit, they will still function

Tubes fall through for my opinion

This is a sturdy rack, but I won't be able to pick it up and carry it unless I line the the bottom first as the tubes easily fall right though the holes on the other side.
