My experience is mixed

Like: Arrived quickly! The price was good. (They are around $350-$400 on aliexpress but they are for 220V and this one for 110V.) What I didn't like: The goods looks like a repurposed Chinese device with almost no instructions/contacts/information I don't care about the position of the handles Some little things were missing The filter size is 21" x 21", not 22" x 22". Returns are free and I have time to decide what to do.

Suitable for mycology. suitable for fume cupboards

No dents, filter in perfect condition. The rivet is missing, but that's okay. Sort of like quality control. Which is a little worrying. But mine worked for a few weeks. I put a coarse filter on the back. I checked the filter and flow, everything is fine. If you put it on a bench, it leans back a little because of the brackets. This will cause the fan blades to rattle (remember this unit is designed to be hung from the ceiling). Eventually I will build a stand but now I set it up and the…

Decent product for the price

Update: Top notch customer service. They responded very quickly and solved all my problems and gave me the option to get my money back or send a new device at no extra cost. I chose the latter and two days later received my new device with no defects and in perfect condition. I have an extra filter from a broken block in case I need a replacement. As most cooker hoods are made out of wood or other materials they are usually more expensive and this one is aluminum but decently built. When you…
