No dents, filter in perfect condition. The rivet is missing, but that's okay. Sort of like quality control. Which is a little worrying. But mine worked for a few weeks. I put a coarse filter on the back. I checked the filter and flow, everything is fine. If you put it on a bench, it leans back a little because of the brackets. This will cause the fan blades to rattle (remember this unit is designed to be hung from the ceiling). Eventually I will build a stand but now I set it up and the rattling is gone. Because of small things I wanted to give 4 stars. It's not an FFU Mercedes, but for $500 it's a great deal worthy of 5 stars.
