I thought I would buy my favorite filters in a more convenient and safe packaging (100 in a box, not 2 packs of 50 in a hard plastic bag). Presumably from the same manufacturer (Perfect Pod), but now the paper filter :::no longer has a lid:::!The different design of the lids allows you to carefully remove and empty all the coffee grounds from the cup holder ( I collect coffee grounds for the garden.) With this version without the lid, the coffee grounds get stuck in the plastic lid (you don't need to squeeze or press the coffee grounds, so there's no way to keep them out of the lid). I don't like scraping and scrubbing them off the lid for my next 100 cups of coffee, getting into my nails and still getting some down the sink. Pooh. What a waste of money.
