I've had jars in my pantry for a while, some three years or more. Some of the jars, like my canned tomatoes, started leaking. It entered the forest. When it comes to my food, I'm a hygiene freak. I have a dog and I feed him for free. Sometimes it attracts bugs and I have to post something to get rid of the bugs. Sometimes it attracts mice and I have to kill them. After every pest incident, I start to worry that a pest might get into the pantry or what it might give a shit. I usually throw away cans. So I bought these jars so nothing would touch my jars or if they were there forever and ran out again it would be contained in the jar. These jars are perfect for regular sized jars like chili, hominy, green beans, black peas and so on.
