More expensive, much better (and worth it)
I use it to purify well water, mainly from iron. I've tried several other unnamed, much cheaper filters, but the 3M filters are the only ones that seem to work for months. Not only do they last longer, but they also filter better without leaving a noticeable taste - which is not the case with cheaper filters. It's definitely worth the extra money you can pay
