I'm left handed so regular butter knives with offset blades don't work for me. They are of good weight and strength, and the small domed handle makes them easy to hold. The blade turned out to be sharper than I expected, so it cuts cold butter and is great for cheese. They have a satin finish and look very elegant. I bought this set for the price and the bonus of two small tongs perfect for pickles and olives so your guests don't have their hands on the dish.
