Took about 15 minutes to assemble. The hardest part was attaching the arms, the screw holes are at a very odd angle. I have to put the screw through the arm piece FIRST before trying to align the two holes. The fabric is really nice and stylish. The seat cushion is thick/dense enough that you don't sink into the seat at all. Unlike many other chairs I've tried, you don't feel the underside of the seat at all when you sit down. The only adjustment I made after assembling the seat was to move the toe ring less than an inch from the rim because I'm 5.11" tall and don't like my legs closing when I sit down are heavily bent. I lowered the ring almost as low as possible to better accommodate my height. The toe ring stays in place with normal use (just place your feet on it). You can't use the ring with STRONG pressure or as a lever, otherwise it will slip easily peel off ) Everything in the box was well packed so the device was not damaged in transit. The chair is in perfect condition with no scratches or anything like that. I would buy this chair again for use with a 2nd bar table.
