I read the instructions that it takes three hours to charge. I plugged it into a USB port, charged it and it never turned on. Tried a different USB plug and a different outlet. Nothing yet. I ended up next to my computer, which I know has working USB ports and is working. It ONLY works when plugged into a desktop/laptop and will not charge - I charged it in the computer for a couple of hours and when I unplugged it, nothing. Although it works when connected. The intensity button doesn't do anything, no matter what other settings you try to combine it with. Also, a design with a non-detachable connector at the base is likely to leak and break the cable - why not make the connector detachable at the base? Also, I just used it like a real massager instead because it's actually quite large for use with a vibrator and with no ability to change the intensity, it's either too little or too much depending on how you position it , since it is convex. I would recommend the smaller model. If you don't have a desktop/laptop with a USB port (which I know a lot of people don't have anymore), good luck getting it working/charging. waste of money
